Each phase of the diamond has its own set of tools. Team tools don’t look like saws, hammers, and drills. They’re specific discussion methods, ways to chart ideas, or techniques to compare opinions. Flip charts, bin lists, and road maps are examples.
Once you’ve played with all of them, you can choose the ones that best fit your situation. Until then, rely on your team facilitator—helping you choose the right consensus-building tool is a facilitator’s specialty.
