Work Groups

Work groups are smaller collections of people who generally work for the same boss. They may serve different clients using their similar expertise or they may do different types of work for a common client (examples of work groups are human resource specialists, legal consultants, or finance experts). Although at some level, these groups do have a common purpose, each member has primarily independent—rather than shared—work objectives.
