Part III: Communication Dynamics > Evaluate Your Team Meeting

Chapter 13. Evaluate Your Team Meeting

The next time you’re in a team meeting, try this experiment to bring focus to the individual roles. After the meeting, have each team member answer the questions on the Team Problem-Solving Questionnaire. Then discuss each participant’s reactions with the group. The objective is to discover how communication works best in this setting. Either you will find that each team member has naturally gravitated toward adopting a specific role, or you need to define your team meeting responsibilities better.
