Reducing social pressure

Explanation

Participating in meetings can be difficult when a team’s leader or select team members dominate the meeting’s discussion. It is to be expected that some team members will have more knowledge about certain subjects than other members will. However, the team must be careful to balance the team’s need for information with its goal of not alienating team members. Team members can do the following things to reduce the social pressure that other team members can feel:
