Nonverbal communication

Explanation

Researchers estimate that as much as 70 percent of the communication that occurs among organizational team members is nonverbal. Consequently, nonverbal communication, such as eye contact and hand gestures, plays an important role in conveying a team member’s true feelings. Virtual teams are at a disadvantage when communicating because members cannot use nonverbal communication to interpret others’ messages.
