In this scenario, you are meeting with Dean Kramer, a Research and Development assistant, Mildred Parcells, a Quality Assurance analyst, and Amy Johnson, a Customer Service supervisor. The project team is working on a two-year customer service project that is designed to streamline internal service processes, and you have just learned that the project time is being cut down to one year. With the passage of time, your team has lost interest and focus, and today you are trying to get that focus back. This project has a significant long-term impact on Icon’s customer relations; and, as a team leader, it will be your responsibility to communicate that message to your team. This meeting focuses on:

  • Making necessary changes in the project team

  • Encouraging better communication within your team

  • Encouraging feedback within your team

  • Encouraging your team to focus on the deliverables
