Chapter 10. Team meetings > Other roles in project team meetings

Other roles in project team meetings

In addition to the facilitator and recorder, there are unassigned roles that team members will assume. These roles include an advocate, a coordinator, an assessor, a concluder, an expert, and a cheerleader.

Advocate

An advocate is a person who shares information about activities and ideas with people outside the team, including department leaders, division leaders, and board members. This team member works hard to ensure that the project team has the necessary resources and the support of the organization.
