Consensus

The final method of decision-making that project teams can use is consensus. With consensus, project team members don’t all have to agree that an option is the best decision, but all must agree to support it. If a team is able to reach consensus, the implementation of the agreed-upon option will usually go better than it will if some team members don’t support the decision. As a result, consensus is generally considered to be the most effective method of decision-making for project teams.
