Comprehensive and supportive listening

Explanation

Comprehensive listening is one type of listening you might use with your team. It includes the basic elements of listening: hearing, interpreting, and reading nonverbal cues, but also incorporates a fourth element, relating the message to your own experiences. By relating the idea to something you already know, you gain a better perspective on why an idea might be important to the project.
