Question 3:. But Aren’t You Telling Yourself Something That Isn’t True?

You are saying it on faith. The book of Hebrews defines it this way: “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” When you plant your hope of future results in the present, you exercise your faith. It is like picturing a full-grown oak tree when you plant an acorn in the ground.

You add the energizing element of faith when you actively state and affirm a hope as if it has already happened. And repetition compels faith.
