Prize Reaping Rewards and Recognition

Rewards and recognition are another form of positive payoffs from results. They act as powerful reinforcement, encouraging us to repeat whatever behavior led to the reward.

Compensation is what you give people for doing the work they were asked or hired to do. Rewards and recognition, on the other hand, celebrate successes and effort beyond the call of duty. Rewarding a person’s attempts for success is also a powerful reinforcement.
