Innovation: We’re All Expected to be More Creative

The new work force of more responsive and responsible workers and more open managers has increased the demand for internal innovation. More and more companies are demanding increased creativity from their workers in return for increased career control.

Companies are looking for innovative ideas concerning internal structure as well as external competition. Workers and managers are asked to become “intrapreneurs”—innovators who work inside a corporate structure to create smaller business units which operate almost independently of the parent organization.
