4: The instructor will divide the class into groups and will give you a handout called Student’s brief. Read the handout and follow the instructor’s directions to work on the scenario.

After reading the scenario, your group should rank the volunteers in the order they should be rescued. You can use any of the two methods of managing complex decisions, the extremes or the driving forces method.

What method did your group use to rank the tourists and why? Discuss.
