Extremes method

In the extremes method, you create best- and worst-case scenarios to gauge the limits of the probable outcomes of your decision. This method helps you to build two decision scenarios that can be evaluated without much effort. One scenario will be the best-case scenario, in which everything works without complications or negative outcomes. The other is the worst-case scenario, in which everything works against you. After you have established these base cases, you can test how strongly the various assumptions affect the outcomes.
