Storyboard

You will need to put wild ideas and concepts into a harder context. This can be achieved through the use of storyboards. The storyboard is effectively a sequential model of both text and pictures that describes the journey a change might take. The team will take the ideas generated and use them to construct a number of potential story lines. The idea is to allow people to piggyback and bounce off each other and from this instigate a range of optional stories and patterns. Typically, each story line will follow the pattern used by most good books or films, with a compelling start, engaging middle and a strong ending. Each of the stories offers a potential solution to an issue.

Imagine a team trying to resolve a poor morale problem in a large insurance company. As part of their group session they might identify three different story lines. Each storyboard offers a different approach that might resolve the situation:
