Where to Find This Answer

The more obvious or open your advantage, the less advantageous it will be. Once the secret is out, it is easy to deploy blocking resources against you or the person delivering the advantage to you. So the unfairness is in direct proportion to the secrecy and the prominence of the person delivering or providing the advantage. An unfair advantage is typically not disclosed in the business plan. You may not even know you have it, but if you do, be very quiet about it. You can score yourself high but you should not be touting it. Mum’s the word.
