Incorporation

Incorporation is the act of creating an artificial legal entity (usually a business entity—a company, a partnership, an LLC, etc.), that serves to fulfill the objectives of the persons establishing (organizing) it.

The Objectives of Incorporation

Whether incorporation is worthwhile, and the choice of the appropriate type of corporation (a company, a partnership, an LLC, etc.), depend on the purpose of the incorporation.
