Programming Radio Buttons

A radio button is a small, unfilled circle. If the user clicks the button, it becomes activated, which the browser signifies by "filling in" the circle with a smaller black circle. Unlike a checkbox, however, clicking the radio button again doesn't deactivate the field. Instead, radio buttons congregate in groups of two or more where only one button in the group can be activated at any time. If the user clicks another button in that group, it becomes activated and the previously activated button becomes deactivated.

You create a radio button by including in your form an <input> tag with the type attribute set to "radio":
