The parentTextEdit Property

You use this property with text ranges, which we’ll see in Chapter 1. This property enables you to find the next outermost object containing the current object that can support text ranges. If there is such a containing object, parentTextEdit returns that object; otherwise it returns null to indicate a non-result. You can see the support for this property in Table 5.45.
