Chapter 19. screen > Description

Description

The screen object describes the client computer's screen settings in detail. Although this object doesn't have much information in it, like the navigator object, what it does provide you can use to determine which page a client browser should go to, or which code to execute. It is important to realize that all windows objects have a screen property, but the screen object is unique for every window object. Also, although you typically can add properties to an object, adding properties to the screen object in Internet Explorer 5.5 will cause an error to be thrown.
