Chapter 12. Operators

Operators in JavaScript define rules by which objects and primitive values change. Some of them perform basic mathematic or logical calculations; others involve affecting objects directly. It is no lie to say objects could not exist without operators.

Unless otherwise noted, all operators are in effect for Netscape 2+ and Internet Explorer 3+.
