Supporting Browsers and Their Issues

Even though JavaScript seems to have been a foundation building block in today's Internet technology, it wasn't always there. It wasn't until the "newest" browsers that its functionality was included. Currently, there are only three browsers that interpret JavaScript: Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and Opera. However, just because they interpret the language does not mean that they do so in the same manner, which is something you will be looking into shortly.

Note

Because many users use AOL's online service to connect to the Internet, you should know that the AOL browser is actually an Internet Explorer browser with different "chrome."
