Following Variables while a Script is Running

A script may not have an error that matches any of the messages in the previous section, but it still might not run correctly. This is often due to a logic error, where the syntax may be fine but the script itself has a problem, as in Script 17.6. Modifying the script so that the variables can be viewed while the script is running helps track down logic errors. Figure 17.11 shows how you can use an alert box to display contents of script variables.
