DO OR DIE

  • You can draw lines, curves, and shapes at runtime.

  • Drawing with ActionScript is good for when you want the user to be able to bend or stretch things on the screen.

  • It is also helpful when duplicating a movie clip is too constraining.

ActionScript has some basic, simple ways for you to draw lines and curves, and fill them with a color. It also lets you create gradients, but that's a pretty tedious process, so we just focus on the lines and curves.
