Chapter 7. Using Components > Component Styles

Component Styles

All components have formatting properties that you can alter. These are in two large groups: text and color. You can alter the text of a component, as well as how that text looks. This includes the font, size, alignment, bolding, italicization, indentation, color, color of selected text, and so on.

You can also affect the colors of different parts of a component. Components are groups of many different pieces, such as foregrounds, backgrounds, highlights, 3D highlights, dark shadows, arrows, checks, and radio button dots. The color of all of these can be affected by using styles.
