Objects, Objects Everywhere

It's easy to see why Macromedia chose the OOP approach, and why OOP has continued to grow in popularity. This whole object thing comes naturally to us, since we perceive the world around us in terms of objects. Many of us drive to work in an object called a car, which is itself composed of smaller objects such as seats, tires, and a really complex object called an engine. When we arrive at work we interact with other objects, such as other people and machines.

Objects are everywhere. This is true, especially in Flash, where almost everything is considered an object of one type or another.
