Part V: SUMMARY > Your Attitude Is Your Most Priceless Possession

Chapter 27. Your Attitude Is Your Most Priceless Possession

A wise person once said, “If you place more emphasis on keeping a positive attitude than on making money, you’ll be successful and the money will take care of itself.” Pursuit of wealth and attitude have little to do with each other; the rich don’t automatically enjoy a positive attitude–in fact, many wealthy people are miserable while many people with fewer resources are happy and at peace with themselves. A positive attitude is acquired through work and practice, and it’s available to everyone.

Each person is free to select his or her most important personal possession. Some choose money or other worldly things; others place their highest value on personal relationships. Only a few think of their personal attitude as a “possession,” but it’s worth considering because so many good things start with a positive attitude.
