Idea 3:. When You Have Repeated Conflicts with Someone, Insulate or Distance Yourself

If your relationship with someone repeatedly turns your attitude negative, the only way to recapture your positive attitude may be to put some distance between yourself and that person. In your personal life, putting distance or even making a complete withdrawal is difficult, but in a work relationship it’s often impossible–unless, of course, you can transfer to another project or move to another company.

More likely, you’ll have to deal with the situation without moving very far from your normal base. But, there are two approaches you can consider, and maybe one or both of them will help:
