Chapter 10. Simplify! Simplify!

Some people gradually clutter their lives with minor negative factors and other complications that make it difficult for them to remain positive. They look up one day and discover that they’ve surrounded themselves with non-essential, high-maintenance possessions, people, or commitments. Then they complain about the complexity of their lives, time pressures, and the stress they feel.

Other people, while they don’t reach this level of complexity and complaint, still become gradually entangled in a web of minor tasks, obligations, possessions, commitments, and involvements. They often feel bogged down–even though each one of these entanglements seemed like a good idea at the time.
