Sources of Information

Seek evidence for an explanation from a variety of sources, including:

Personal experience: Your or others’ observations. When evaluating evidence, be careful to assess credibility as discussed. And watch out for hearsay and secondhand reports.

Documents: Statistical information, reports, and other writings.

Artifacts: Any relevant physical materials such as office equipment, products, software, or other manufactured goods.
