Social Skills Builder 3: Connect Learning to Doing

Managers play an important role in helping trainees take new skills from the training situation to their work. Managers can give positive feedback when they see an employee trying out skills they learned during training. Observe the person for a period of time after training and ask these questions: What have you done differently as a result of the training? How has it helped you to increase your sales? How can I support you in your efforts to be more successful?

Assess Your Social Skills Training

Rate the way your organization conducts social skills training to raise emotional intelligence.

1 = Never 3 = Sometimes 5 = Always
