Chapter 11. Let’s Make Steel > Phase II: The Melt

Phase II: The Melt

Just as iron has to be heated to transform it into steel, people must go through a period where their ideas and ways of looking at the world are challenged. This challenging of ideas, perceptions and assumptions is a critical point in the consensus building process.
