Chapter 19. Walking the Talk

You can be a role model and an advocate for working to consensus. You can make a difference in your next meeting, whether you are the leader or not. You have read the theory of consensus. You have taken stock of your personal skills. You have an understanding of the phases of mix, melt and mold. You have tools in your tool kit that will help you overcome obstacles in your way.

Now, apply some of this knowledge in your daily life. Test what works for you. Try different approaches. Maybe your next meeting will not change the course of the world, but it could make a difference to you and those around you. You can make a difference.
