Chapter 30. Reality Check

Blurry vision forces adjustment to see things more clearly. We can squint. We can put on glasses. Relative to your business goals, what do you see? Are they bright, vivid, exciting, and draw you? Or are they boring, drab rainy-day gray? Do they exist at all? It’s tough to get somewhere if you don’t know where you’re going. It’s also more fun to travel toward something you enjoy.

Throughout the book you’ve identified your preferred work style: how you want to use your time, what organizational style meets your needs, ways in which you want to manage yourself and others. Think of the composite as your work style template. It’s now time to overlay it against your business goals. How will they fit together?
