Part II: Juggling Time > Finding Your Anchors

Chapter 7. Finding Your Anchors

Are you overwhelmed with all the things you have to do in too little time or simply having trouble focusing on what to do next? Getting a grip is tough when you’re spinning your wheels on ice or feel like a dog chasing its tail. The faster you go, the further behind you get. Anchors can help you get focused and centered.

When you think of an anchor, what visions come to mind? Do you see a big anchor on an ocean cruiser that can hold the ship in one place forever? Or, do you see a motorless rowboat in the middle of lake with a rock tied to a line to keep the fisherman in place, but not necessarily anchored for life? Or do you not even think of a boat? Is an anchor just a concept to hold things in place?
