Apprehending Criminals

Computer criminals have often been hard to apprehend due to a lack of understanding on the part of law enforcement agencies and the judicial system. However, things are beginning to change. Many states are leading the way with special legislation aimed at stopping software piracy. Other new laws make it a crime to trespass electronically on a computer system even if there is no damage or theft. And many cities are establishing special police units to combat computer crime.
