Part II: Introduction to KAZ > Getting started

Chapter 4. Getting started

Explanation

The ability to touch-type using ten fingers is one of the most important skills required in today’s computer literate society. There’s a significant difference in performance between people that touch-type with ten fingers and look at their screen and people that look down at the keyboard and hunt and peck the keys with two fingers. Touch-typists focus on the content of their work on-screen without having to think about the keyboard. Those who hunt and peck struggle to work at half speed, and their concentration is constantly broken. By using KAZ, you can significantly reduce the learning time required to acquire this valuable skill.
