Part V: E-mail messages > E-mail message body

Chapter 16. E-mail message body

Explanation

After filling the header of your e-mail message, you have to create the message body. Begin by including a proper greeting. Avoid unnecessary details when you write e-mail messages. You should remember to address only one topic per message. Write your message in a way that your recipients can quickly and easily access and retain the information. One of the best ways to do this is to structure the information in a list. The type of list you use to present your information depends on the type of information you want to relay to your recipient. Another way to write effective messages is writing short paragraphs. You should structure long e-mail messages in a way that keeps your recipient interested in the information you are presenting. Your closing should also be as brief and simple as possible.
