Chapter 6. How to Fix Your Pictures > Color (Correct) My World

Color (Correct) My World

Another handy thing about digital photography is that it's so darned easy to fix lousy colors. Digital cameras do a great job of capturing color these days, but really there's no way to make sure that every photo comes out perfect every time. Plus some photos just look better when you adjust their color. Making them black and white or sepia or just adjusting the color balance can help create an artistic photograph without much effort.

Start off once again by making a copy of your original image and then look for your program's color-balance tools. In all-in-one programs, these are usually found in the Edit section of the program. Clicking these buttons usually brings up a range of tools, including sliders and buttons for color changes.
