Oh, Crop!

Zapping red-eye might be the most obvious fix you can do to improve your photographs—and it's certainly something that can save an otherwise ruined shot—but many other post-photographic touch-ups are more subtle and just as important.

A great place to start looking to touch up your photograph is by refining the focus of a shot. I talked before about doing your cropping work in the camera (see Chapter 2), but sometimes that's just not possible, or you might later notice a way to improve your photograph simply by trimming it down a bit.
