Moving Right Along

Now that you've improved your photo-transfer speeds, let's talk about where your photographs are going. When you drop that card into your external reader, both Macs and PCs will recognize it right away, and the files will appear on the computer's desktop. Usually the card will show up with a name similar to the name of your camera or reader, and it will contain a folder with your images (Figure 5.3).
