Manual focusing

In the past 15 years, autofocus technology has become very good. So good in fact that you could assume digital camera manufacturers figure that most users aren't going to want to mess around with focus rings when the programmed precision of autofocus does the job. Manual focus capabilities are currently reserved for only the most expensive digital cameras, and manufacturers have turned their attention to other user demands, such as improved image quality and larger megapixel sizes.
