Chapter 8. Photo Editing and Enhancement > Things to Do with Your Photos

Things to Do with Your Photos

Now that you know how to improve the quality of your photos and get them to the size you want, you might ask yourself what sorts of things you can do with those photos. Sure, you can print them or make JPEG versions that you can post on the Web, but what else can you do with your photos?

You can add a digital Picture Frame to your photo with Image > Picture Frame. Or, as you saw in Chapter 5, “Mastering Selections, Masks, and Channels,” you can add a decorative edge. Other interesting twists are to give your photo a sepia, a cyanotype, or some other old-fashioned tone. Or transform your color photos into high-quality black-and-white photos, perhaps simulating the style of Ansel Adams or the effect of infrared film. Or maybe you want to combine several photos into a panorama or a collage. We’ll look at some of these in Chapter 10.
