Part III:  Using Vector Graphics and Text  >  Constructing Vector Objects

Chapter 13. Constructing Vector Objects

Up to this point, you’ve worked primarily with raster objects, which use pixels to store image information. Vector objects, the other type of Paint Shop Pro object, are stored as separate items with information about each item’s position, starting and ending points, width, color, and curve information. Working with vector objects gives you more flexibility in moving and editing the individual objects.

You’ll find vector objects especially useful when you’re designing logos and making line drawings. In this chapter, you’ll learn how to

  • Create vector layers

  • Draw vector shapes

  • Draw vector lines
