Converting Vector Objects to Raster

The main drawback to vector objects is that you cannot apply effects and filters to vector images. Don’t give up hope, though! Paint Shop Pro includes a feature to convert vector layers with all its objects to raster objects on a raster layer. From there, you can apply effects.

Another reason to convert a vector image to raster is file size. A raster file might be smaller than a vector file if the image has several vectors and many areas of uniform color.
