Adding Vector Lines

In Chapter 3, “Discovering Drawing Tools,” you learned how to use the Pen tool to draw various types of lines; however, editing the lines after drawing them is difficult when they are raster lines. When lines are drawn as vector objects, you can easily move and edit them without affecting the rest of the image objects.

Drawing Vector Lines

You draw vector lines just like you draw raster lines. However, after you complete a vector line, handles remain at the ends of the lines awaiting your next movement. You can create continuous lines or single lines. As with raster lines, you need to click the New button when you want to create a new series of lines.
