Putting a Photo Behind Glass

Use the Glass filter to give a photo a little trompe-l oeil flair; somehow, adding a layer of glass in front of the picture makes it look that much more real—as though the printed page or monitor screen is actually a window.

With a photo in the active image area, choose Filter, Distort, Glass.

Choose a glass texture, such as Blocks.

Optionally, drag the Scaling slider to change the size of the blocks.

Click OK.
