Working with the Pencil Tool

The Pencil tool is exactly what its name implies… a pencil. The Pencil tool is limited to hard brush tips of any size or shape, and creates freeform lines using the current foreground color. A unique feature of the Pencil tool is its ability to switch between the current foreground and background colors using the Auto Erase feature.
