Chapter 14. Manipulating Images with Fil... > Using Online Services to Print Photo...

Using Online Services to Print Photos

Photoshop's new Online Services feature lets you to send images from Photoshop directly to remote service providers, such as Photo Printing partners and Online Sharing companies. This gives you a great advantage over having the hassle of saving, storing, and shipping images from you to a service bureau. Since the images used in high-end printing involve a lot of physical information (big file sizes), its important to have access to a high-speed Internet connection. Services such as DSL or broadband (cable) help to make the process of sending information faster and more reliable. When you access Online Services, the service listing may not be updated, so check it occasionally for new services.

Use On-Line Services to Print your Photos

Click the File menu, and then click Online Services.

Select a service to upload from the info window.

Click Refresh to check for any new services.

Click Next.

Enter the appropriate information, such as e-mail address and password (if you are not a member of the service the system will prompt you on how to sign up).

Click Next.

You will enter the services Web site (each one is different), and be prompted to select the images to upload.

Follow the on-screen instructions for the specific service provider to upload the images.
