Painting in Photoshop

There are three primary painting tools (Brush, Pencil, and Eraser), a couple painting tools that don't use brushes (Gradient and Paint Bucket), and a number of tools that use brushes but modify pixels rather than paint them. All these tools are grouped in the Toolbox (see Figure 13.1).
